Handcrafted pottery from the Barossa Valley

Welcome to Barossa Clay & Glaze.

I am Donna, the maker behind Barossa Clay & Glaze, creating handmade ceramics inspired by the natural beauty of the Barossa Valley.

The landscape around me deeply influences my work - the rolling vineyards, textured earth, native gums, and ever-changing skies. I’m drawn to earthy textures and glaze colours that reflect our region: warm clay tones, soft celadons, muted blues, and grounded neutrals that feel calm, organic and timeless.

Each ceramic piece is thoughtfully handmade in small batches using traditional techniques including handbuilding, wheel throwing, and slip casting. I embrace subtle variations in texture and form, because I believe handmade pottery should feel authentic and full of character. No two pieces are ever identical - they are sisters, not twins.
